The Law Firm Settles Medical Malpractice Case and Brain Injured Child to Receive a Potential Payout in Excess of $6 Million
Monday, August 31st, 2009
The law firm of CSCS successfully resolved litigation on behalf of a profoundly brain injured infant who suffered the injury as the result of the alleged negligence of individuals employed at a Washington, D.C. metropolitan area hospital. Although the details of the settlement are confidential, the minor is eligible to receive a potential total payout in excess of $6 million.
Although suffering a traumatic brain injury is devastating and there is no amount of money that could compensate for the harm caused, we are nevertheless satisfied that we were able to bring this matter to a successful resolution.

Brain Injury Association of D.C. Holds its First Fundraiser on July 7, 2009
Friday, August 28th, 2009
Members of the Brain Injury Association of D.C. (“BIADC”) Board of Directors and numerous volunteers were out on the streets by Dupont Circle handing out leaflets containing a coupon to Baja Fresh all day on July 7, 2009. If the leaflet was presented to the cashier, the BIADC would receive 15% of whatever that individual purchased, without any additional cost to the consumer. Baja Fresh reported that the BIADC volunteers shattered all prior records for the amount of food sold with the coupon. The BIADC raised approximately $400 which means that approximately $3,000 worth of food was sold to customers that day that had a BIADC coupon.
Congratulations to all the volunteers for a successful fundraising event!
